Tyler A. Holbach, age 20, of Merrill, passed away on December 29, 2017. Tyler was born August 19, 1997, in Wausau, son of Tammy (Hornung) Duwe and Paul Holbach. Tyler was currently an apprentice electrician with Kroker Electric in Wausau. Tyler was a helpful young man with a great sense of humor. He loved his job, enjoyed playing video games, and watching movies. Tyler was an excellent cook and enjoyed grilling and preparing meals on his new gas grill. Tyler and Mercede, the love of his life, enjoyed spending time with their dog. Tyler is survived by his mother and step-father, Tammy and Matt Duwe of Merrill; his father, Paul Holbach of Loyal; his life partner, Mercede Valliere of Merrill; their dog, Daisey Dee; three siblings, Tanner Duwe of Merrill, and Alex Holbach and Hailey Holbach both of Loyal; and many other relatives and friends who mourn his passing. A memorial service for Tyler will be held at 12:00 P.M., Noon, on Saturday, January 6, 2017, at St. Stephens United Church of Christ, Merrill. The Rev. Kyle Carnes will officiate. Family and friends may visit at the church on Saturday beginning at 9:00 AM. Taylor-Stine Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Merrill, is assisting the family.
