Terry A. Frisch, age 64, of Merrill, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital, with her family by her side. Terry was born September 28, 1951, to the late Robert ‘Bob’ and Elizabeth ‘Betty’ Frisch. Terry was one of the first set of surviving triplets born at the former Holy Cross Hospital in Merrill. Terry worked at Merrill Manufacturing for over 30 years and retired as a manager of customer service. Her likes included: canning and she was known for her ‘secret’ dill pickle recipe; pontooning; gardening; her annual gambling trips with the golden girls (Linda, Marlene and Joann); and the annual poker party during deer hunting season. She enjoyed poetry and was artistic. She also enjoyed watching scary movies and drawing silly pictures with her grandchildren and was an avid follower of the Green Bay Packers. Terry had a great sense of humor and was known for telling jokes and making everybody laugh. She was also known for putting others people before herself and lending a helping hand. During the last two years of her life, Terry’s faith strengthened and she turned her will and her life over to the care of God. Survivors include her partner of 35 years, Marlene Benzinger of Merrill; son, Bradley (Sue) Geiss of Merrill; daughter, Jennifer Geiss of Wausau; three grandchildren, Nicholas and Elizabeth Rehwinkel of Wausau, and Brady Geiss of Merrill; sister, Sallie (Ted) Bachar of Merrill; triplet sister, Jean Henrichs of Merrill; triplet brother, Gary (Nancy) Frisch of Merrill; and many nieces and nephews. Terry is further survived by her special friends, Linda and Dale J., Joann and Henry H., Barb S., Shirley E., Penny G., Jolena D., Dana Z., Sandy S., Mike M., and numerous others. Terry was preceded in death by her parents; her brother-in-law, Dennis Henrichs; and Barbara Loskot who was like a sister to her and Jerry Loskot. The Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, February 8, 2016 St. Stephen’s United Church of Christ, Merrill. Pastor Eric Shelley will officiate. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 A.M. Monday at church. The Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill, is assisting the family with arrangements.
