Roger F. Hanneman, 81, of Merrill, passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at his home.
Roger was born November 25, 1942, in Wausau, son of Elmer and Berdina (Wendt) Hanneman. He married Darlene Doering on April 3, 1964, in Pine City, Minnesota. She preceded him in death on February 24, 2020. Roger started his career as a school bus driver and eventually became an over-the-road truck driver. He started Roger Hanneman Trucking in the early 1980’s and ran that business for more than thirty years.
Roger enjoyed fishing and hunting, and woodworking. He loved spending time working on his lawn and driving his lawnmower. Roger was very handy with mechanical projects and was always able to help; he knew a little bit about everything. Above all, Roger loved his family.
