Peggy Ann Blood passed away at the age of 77 following a short bout with cancer. Peggy was a kind, caring little lady who was able to make those around her smile with absolutely no effort. She had a great sense of humor and was described by friends as “a spitfire” and “a lot of sass in a small package”. She loved to shop and was especially thrilled when she found treasures at St Vinnie’s in Merrill. Peggy enjoyed cooking, knitting, and watching cartoons in her spare time. She also loved her cats and spent a lot of time taking care of them and being entertained by their antics. Peggy worked at and retired from Lincoln Industries in Merrill where she will be remembered as someone that worked hard, did an excellent job, and was always willing and ready to help her coworkers. Peggy will be greatly missed by all that knew her- and especially missed by her long-time companion, Paul Randall, who will hold her memory fondly in his heart and her very trusted and loyal friend, Mary Ann Ellis. Born on December 30, 1943, Peggy passed away on April 29, 2021. She was preceded in death by her foster parents, Thomas and Esther Sprasky of Merrill. A special thank you to Carolyn Dransfield and her family in Tomahawk, WI for the kind care they gave Peggy at the end of her life. A visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M., Noon, until 1:00P.M. Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at the Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill, WI. Online condolences may be made at www.taylorstinefuneralhome.com In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to her favorite charity, St. Vincent De Paul in Merrill would be greatly appreciated.
