Nick (Geno) Meyer passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 13th, 2022. Nick was born August 18, 1978, at Memorial Hospital in Sheboygan, WI to mother Patty (Meyer) Halbach and Randy Halbach, Sr. Nick graduated from Merrill Senior High School Class of 1996. Nick looked forward to spending quality time with his son Zander playing video games, shooting hoops, watching movies, and cheering for the Packers together. If the team wasn’t doing well, they would get the “what’s up” thru the T.V. from the two couch coaches, Nick and Zander. Nick also enjoyed traveling holding a fabrication job Weisgram in Fargo, North Dakota, also traveling to South Dakota, Atlanta, Georgia, Tennessee, Florida, Colorado, and many other states. Nick was also an avid sports enthusiast knowing off the top of his head wins, losses, and player statistics. Nick also enjoyed a good time out at bars with all of his friends (and he knew many) and loved socializing! Nick also fancied himself as a king chef in his own kitchen taking out bound orders from his son Zander and faithful companion (Bubba) who was known for getting a package of hotdogs for his birthday. At Nick’s (Geno’s) request and respect for the family, we will not be holding a traditional funeral. Instead, at Nick’s request, we will keep all close friends posted when we have an all-out celebration of life for all who knew (Geno) and “All will be welcome” to share your wonderful stories with his family. A GoFundMe page will be set-up for donations to cover funeral costs and celebration of life also for his Son Zander. Taylor-Stine Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Merrill, is assisting the family.
