Joyce A. Klebenow

Joyce A. Klebenow, 83, of Merrill, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at Stoney River Memory Care, Marshfield.

Joyce was born April 4, 1940, in Merrill, daughter of the late Clarence and Elsie (Schmidt) Bade. She married Melvin Klebenow on September 24, 1960, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Merrill. Joyce and Melvin were dairy farmers for over thirty-five years, in addition to this she also spent ten years working at Rondelé Cheese. Joyce enjoyed sewing, baking, gardening, playing cards, going to a Friday fish fry, serving her church on the ladies aide, and spending time with her family. Joyce and Melvin loved to travel. They went on many trips to Germany, Switzerland, Cancún, and Alaska.

Joyce is survived by her husband of sixty-two years, Melvin Klebenow of Merrill; daughters, Rhonda (John) Heisler of Illinois, and Renee (Daniel) Kolehouse, of Merrill; sons, Brian (Marlys) Klebenow and Keith (Sara) Klebenow both of Merrill; 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, sister, Ethel Natzke; brothers, Harvey (Ardell) Bade and Roger (Darlene) Bade.

The visitation for Joyce will begin at 9:00am on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Town of Berlin. The funeral service will follow at 12:00pm at the church. The Rev. Andrew DeGier will officiate. Burial will follow in Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery, Town of Berlin. Taylor-Stine Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Merrill, is assisting the family.
