Jeffrey 'Mountain' Hill

November 12, 1954 — October 8, 2017

Jeffrey R. “Mountain” Hill, age 62, of Gleason, died accidently on Sunday, October 8, 2017. His kindness, generosity and selflessness will be deeply missed. Always ready with a sincere smile, Mountain made friends easily and permanently. He was always quick to lend a hand to anyone in need. Mountain lived an honest life and leaves a community of family and friends missing his sincerity and warmth. He was a skilled engineer, builder and was the owner and operator of Northern States Tool & Cutter, in Gleason, for 38 years. Born November 12, 1954, in Merrill, son of Marion Hill and the late Robert Hill, he is survived by his wife, Kristine Hill of Gleason; his mother, Marion Hill of Merrill; two children, Melanie Hill (fiancée Robert Vikander) of Minneapolis and Ryan Hill (Andrew Schiff) of Oakland, California; two sisters, Mary Hill of Oklahoma and Sara (Jeff) Simon of Kohler, WI; and one brother, Randy (Delnice) Hill of Merrill; along with other relatives and friends. Besides his father, Robert Hill, Jeff was preceded in death by one brother, Michael Hill. Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 12, 2017, at the Taylor-Stine Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at www.taylorstinefuneralhome.com.
