Carolyn H. ‘Carol’ Schult, age 70, of Tomahawk, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2016, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. Carol was born February 13, 1946, in Wausau, daughter of the late Emil and Helen Liebers. She married Ronald Schult on August 8, 1964. He survives. Carol had waitressed at several Wausau area restaurants including Richard’s Supper Club, Michael’s Supper Club, Captain’s, and Carmello’s. Carol enjoyed camping, baking, vacationing in Florida during the winter, pontoon boat rides, gardening, taking her pet dog for walks, and spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband Ronald Schult, Tomahawk; one daughter, Tammy (David) Schoepke, Merrill; two sons, Jim Schult, Merrill, and Bob (Deb) Schult, Tomahawk; and six grandchildren, Josie, Jedidiah, and Jake Schoepke, Jordan Schult, Nicki (Nick) Summers, and Matthew Schult. Besides her parents, Carol is preceded in death by a son, Tim Schult; and an infant brother. The funeral will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 12, 2016, at Faith Lutheran Church, Town of Maine, Marathon County. The Rev. Kevin Hoogland will officiate. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Town of Maine. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM Saturday at the church. The Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill, is assisting the family.
