Bonnie J. (Grund) Heller

Bonnie J. (Grund) Heller, 88, of Merrill, passed away Monday, November 30, 2020 at Pine Crest Nursing Home, Merrill. Bonnie was born January 16, 1932, in Merrill, daughter of Martin and Berniece (Litkey) Krueger. Bonnie loved to entertain at her home and make meals for her friends. She also loved to cook for her children. Bonnie enjoyed going out to eat, finding a bargain while shopping, and polka dancing. Bonnie also liked playing cards and belonged to two card clubs. She snowmobiled and belonged to a snowmobile club as well. In her younger years, she enjoyed roller skating. Bonnie was selfless and always put others needs before her own. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Merrill. Survivors include her daughter, Susan (Ole) Schneider, Merrill; sons, Scott Grund (Jacie Dehnel), Little Chicago, Tom (Tess) Grund, Merrill, Steve Grund, Merrill, and David Grund, Merrill; seven grandchildren, Stephanie (Brett) Oren, Brett (Emily) Schneider, Heather Plautz, Adam (Christy) Grund, Morgan Matthiae (Jeremy), Chelsea Grund (Alex Graap), and Jake Grund; eight great-grandchildren, Tyler, Cullen, Ashlyn, Piper, Paige, Madison, Preston, and Ethan; sister, Donna Mielke, Merrill; and brother, James Krueger, Merrill. Bonnie was preceded in death by several family members including her parents; husband, Frank Robl; former husband, Donald Grund; husband, Donald Heller; and brother, Kenneth Krueger.
